Legal labeling is the third job. FDA has sent warning letters to e-liquid sellers whose packages lacked the required nicotine warning.

Keep finishes off the warning panel. Foil and gloss can reflect light, and federal rules require the warning to contrast with everything else on the package.
A box does not make a product legal. FDA has authorized a limited number of e-cigarette products and says products without authorization risk enforcement. Nicotine vaping products sold in the US must carry this statement on the package label:

If a unit is too small, the warning can appear on the carton or outer container instead. Products with no nicotine follow a separate path, so get advice before dropping the warning.
The label must also show the name and place of business of the manufacturer, packer or distributor and an accurate statement of contents. The words Sale only allowed in the United States must appear on the label, packaging and shipping containers.
The Child Nicotine Poisoning Prevention Act requires liquid nicotine containers to use special packaging, enforced by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. It targets the container holding the liquid, such as an e-liquid bottle. Sealed, pre-filled, disposable cartridges are treated differently. A paper box alone does not make a bottle child-resistant. We ship to Canada, the UK, Australia and most of Europe, and each market has its own rules.
Article 20 of the Tobacco Products Directive requires a nicotine health warning on the two largest surfaces at 30 percent coverage, plus a leaflet in each unit packet.
The UK uses the same warning wording on the front and back of each unit packet. Single-use vapes have been banned from sale since June 1, 2025, so disposable vape boxes are not an option there.
Regulators are focused on youth access, so skip cartoon characters and candy-style imagery. Use only your own brand and artwork.
